PALACE

David recently completed a persona project with long term collaborating directors Luke Seomore & Joseph Bull.  After the scale of Black Beauty, David wanted to shoot something intimate, free from the restraints of large-scale production.

At a time of unparalleled global pressure on the medical community, the goal was to make a film exploring the aftermath of a paramedic’s shift: the fading adrenaline, the untangling emotions, the cathartic release.

Shot with a skeletal crew in nocturnal London, the minimalist piece transcends language as a pure piece of visual storytelling.

Scored by Blessed Are The Hearts That Bend & shot on the LUMIX S1H with stills lenses.
